An eighty page "Non-technical guide to coastal defence" for decision-makers, local authority officers and students, to understand current issues regarding shoreline management. To assist Members of Parliament with coastal constituencies to understand coastal-related problems Defra paid to distribute three hundred copies of the guide to MPs in every coastal constituency as part of an awareness-raising programme.
