Photo 20 (Return) Cliff recession and sediment yields calculated by Bray (1996; 1997a). Field assessments of cliff lithology coupled with recession data enabled sediment yields to be calculated. Results revealed that large quantities of clay and sand are supplied in western and central parts, but these materials are too fine to contribute to local beaches. Small, but significant proportions of beach-forming gravels are supplied at Black Ven and Stonebarrow. | |
