Strete Beach and inactive cliffs, 2001. A wide beach has accumulated here at the northern extremity of Slapton Sands, forming a vegetated shingle habitat. The beach is sufficiently wide to completely protect the cliffs behind from wave attack. Note the vegetated and inactive appearance of these cliffs.
